DRAGON FRUIT SMOOTHIE: Dragon fruit aka pitaya, pitahaya, or strawberry pear, is high in nutrients, fiber, and antioxidants. This superfood smoothie is creamy, refreshing, and tastes like a treat. Enjoy smoothies in moderation as they are full of natural sugars.
PREPARATION TIME: 5mins.
INGREDIENTS:
1. 1 banana, chopped and frozen
2. 5 strawberries, frozen
3. 1/2 pink dragon fruit, chopped
4. 40ml almond milk
INSTRUCTION:
Put all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
NOTES:
1. Dragon fruit is also known as pitaya. If you can't find the fresh fruit where you are, you can also buy pre-packaged frozen ones.
2. Feel free to substitute the almond milk with any other plant milk of choice!
3. Adjust the amount of almond milk according to your preference. If you like a thinner smoothie, add more milk.
